The generation of Philadelphians prior to the American Revolution propelled the meteoric rise of the city into the thriving cultural heart of Colonial America. This is the dramatic story of Philadelphia’s ascension over the course of the final decades of colonial America, detailing along the way the lives of the people molding the city in their image.
Brief Bio
Justin McHenry is a writer and historian who loves finding the odds and ends of history and bringing them back to the light. Justin is the author of the acclaimed book Lemuria: A True Story of a Fake Place (Feral House), which tells the history of the lost continent of Lemuria. He edited the collection of stories, The Garden at Rose Brake: The Garden Writings of Danske Dandridge. His has writings has been published in newspapers, magazines, historical journals, and at various publications online, and has been interviewed on numerous podcasts, YouTube Channels, and radio. He lives in Charles Town, WV with his wife and two daughters.
